Fees
Our fees are charged and monitored in accordance with the threshold agreed to by Te Whatu Ora and our PHO, Wellsouth. The cost of your visit will be lower if you are enrolled with us because the Government subsidises the fee for enrolled patients. The subsidies we receive do not cover the full costs of the services and infrastructure we provide, hence a fee is charged to patients.

Secure Messaging is a service that enrolled patients can use to contact their GP/NP with queries about their health, treatment, diagnosis etc.
This service does attract a charge as it involves the clinician spending time to respond, sometimes investigate and read through patients' messages.
This can be a convenient way for patients to ask questions that do not require a full consultation for a lesser charge than a consultation - saving time and money for the patient.
Charging is complex because the time taken to read and respond to each message will vary. Please see below for explanation of our charging policy around Secure Messaging:
For any queries requiring medical advice, there will be a minimum charge of $20. The maximum charge this service will attract is $40.
If your query is around your medications that are already prescribed for you or an explanation of your results - this may be free (at the sole discretion of the clinician)
