No appointment needed, walk-in service 7 days a week.
Open 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday-Friday and 10:00 am-6:00 pm Weekends & Public Holidays. We provide a one-stop location for most common medical problems. You will be triaged by a nurse and then have a consultation with either a doctor or nurse practitioner. After Hours & Urgent Care Clinic is not for emergency care. We are available to assist patients with an illness or injury that does not appear to be life-threatening. If you require emergency care, please head to the Queenstown Lakes District Hospital or call 111.

Supporting everyone towards better health
Our After Hours & Urgent Care Clinic provides services for accidents and illnesses 7 days a week. We are the only After Hours & Urgent Care Clinic in Queenstown supporting Queenstown Lakes District Hospital. You can receive care for your bumps and bruises, flu and breathing problems, insect bites, cuts and burns, sprains and strains, broken bones and other minor injuries.
GP, Nurse Practitioner or Nurse consultation
Our After-Hours & Urgent Care is available to anyone visiting or living in Queenstown needing non-life threatening medical care. We operate on a triage system and have multiple practitioners on site.
Fracture support
Supporting anyone with sprains or suspected broken bones requiring assessment. Removal or application of plaster casts, along with taking x-rays. A patient may have to attend the clinic multiple times during the resolution of their injury.
Accidents requiring stitching or bandaging
Our After Hours & Urgent Care Clinic provides care for accidents that require stitching or bandaging. Our skilled medical team swiftly assesses and treats injuries, offering expert stitching and bandaging services to promote quick and effective healing. We're here to ensure you receive the care you need when accidents happen.
Non-emergency medical care
Non-emergency medical care refers to healthcare services provided for conditions or situations that are not life-threatening. Non-emergency care typically includes routine medical issues, minor injuries, and chronic health concerns that do not immediately endanger a person's life.

Accessing our services is both straightforward and highly convenient. We are open 365 days a year, and our services are available for anyone visiting or living in Queenstown. You do not need to be enrolled to access our After Hours & Urgent Care. This is a walk-in service only; you cannot make an appointment with our After Hours & Urgent Care.

Before You Visit
If you are not enrolled with QMC, please fill in the casual patient form online before you visit for a smoother arrival. You will be required to pay the cost of your consultation, prior to seeing the clinician. You will need to request and retain your invoice/receipt and consultation notes to make a claim against your travel insurance.
