After Hours & Urgent Care
No appointment needed, walk-in service 7 days a week at 9 Isle Street.
Open 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday-Friday and 10:00 am-6:00 pm Weekends & Public Holidays. We provide a one-stop location at 9 Isle Street for most common medical problems that are not life-threatening.
Australian Immigration Medical
Book Your Australian Immigration Medical at QMC
At QMC, we're here to assist you with your Australian immigration medical assessments, which are expertly handled by our certified Australian Immigration panel doctors, Dr. Jo Cannon and Dr. Simon Davies. Your examination will be conducted using the Australian Immigration Department’s eMedical system. Please ensure you obtain your unique HAP ID number from your Australian Immigration case manager and bring your eMedical referral letter to your appointment.
Cervical Screening
Now's the time to get checked.
Regular cervical screening is your best protection against cervical cancer. In 2023, human papillomavirus (HPV) screening became the new method for cervical screening in Aotearoa New Zealand. It looks for the human papillomavirus, which causes cell changes that may lead to cervical cancer.
Contraceptive Clinic
Advising on all types of contraceptive care. Government funding schemes can be available. Clinics are held at our Isle Street practice.
Our contraceptive clinic provides various birth control options, including IUDs, jadelles, contraceptive pills, injections, condoms, and emergency contraception, ensuring you have a diverse selection to meet your specific needs. Funded appointments are available for enrolled patients under 22 yrs and/or up to 50yrs, with a community services card, High User Card or of Māori or Pacific ethnicity.
