Full Body Mole Check
If you are needing a full body mole check the following Doctors can complete this for you: Dr Simpson, Dr Curran or Dr Hutchison.
The appointment will take approximately 20-30 min and may include immediate treatment of any precancerous lesion. Our team use a camera with a dermoscopic lens to take a high-quality, detailed image beneath the surface of a mole to show features not visible to the naked eye and enable diagnosis of the very early basal cell, squamous cell and melanoma skin cancers.
Cost: Reg Patient $200
Casual Patient $249
Skin excisions are quoted following your consultation.
Spot Check
If you want one mole checked, you can book to see any of our General Practitioners or Nurse Practitioners at our four sites. This can be completed in a regular GP appointment. Along with mole checks we also offer support in managing Acne, Psoriasis, Eczema and Dermatitis. Costs: Standard consultation charges apply.
Lesion removal
The Doctor or Nurse Practitioner will advise you on the best treatment for you skin lesion or mole. This could include skin lesion removal which can be done at the surgery by our specialist Doctors. For any suspicious or underdetermined lesions or moles, a skin biopsy or excision is usually recommended. A soft tissue sample can be taken and sent to the laboratory to check for the presence of skin cancer. If removal is advised, then local anaesthetic is provided for the procedure to minimise pain and discomfort.
